Yes he played better but man, he has to fix this stroke. And I don't mean fix it now. He has a lot of work to do. You can't play pool with this kind of stroke.
 
Apparently Eric hu threatened John before the match. Then, stationed himself near John during the first 2 games. The owner finally thought the intimidation tactics were too much and had Eric removed from the premises. Game 3 certainly showed a difference for John. Maybe that had some effect. We'll see

Me and Bartrum spoke in person at the US Open.Chris is a nice guy and we both came to an understanding not to play.I will play Barton the game he barked at me 25% spot playing straight pool.I accepted his terms and he weaseled out of that game also.Would you like to play me some?Didn't think so.

Who's Eric Hu? :confused:
 
Eric used to be a poster here and on RSB... He was a regular way back when many of us on here were on RSB. AZ became the place to be and I am not sure where Eric has been posting if at all.
 
Can someone tell john it's not 9 ball and stop trying to run out lol

I tell you... fwiw.. John hasn't used any thing recognizably close to CTE Pro one... that that Stan teaches on his DVD anyway. One stroke... alignment to outside of CCB... wow/ this is NOT pretty.

Not sure John is the best spokesperson for CTE Pro One or playing 1P for that matter.

10K... 'the mind is a wonderful thing to waste'.

If John would calm down and shoot one ball at a time lol and make the one he is trying he has a good chance.

I think you're right. He's alternating between looking like a decent one pocket player and hammering things like a banger. If he could eliminate that second guy, he'd probably be relatively ok. He needs to shoot softer and stop getting greedy. He would have won game 4 if he hadn't tried to run all the balls on the table when he only needed 3.

Yep he plays not bad safes. I don't play one hole but I can see better shots for him then power draws the length of the table lol
