And FOR THE RECORD I know there are a lot of good players here on AZB. I respect everybody especially Brumback, Jay Helfert, Freddy Beard RIP and my elders. With that being said I would go VERY far in an AZB bank tournament. I really think I could be competitive in banks at DCC!! With 3 months of daily practice!!
You don't seem to understand how to play banks. There is a lot of strategy to the game.
Just being a 'good ' banker isn't enough to beat a good 'bank pool player'.
Do yo know ''2 rails in the side ( side rail-bottom rail ) and lay whitey on the bottom rail? 2 rails in the side off the bottom rail....3 rails in the side off the bottom rail? 1 rail off the bottom rail in the side? 3 rails off the side rail-bottom rail-side-rail in the side? Many more multi-rail banks are needed to play good bank pool.
Good luck at DCC. Its a tough tourney.

Like a week ago you ranked Brumback as a 14 and you as a 7. Three months of daily practice and you still get eaten alive by the pros...period. Then again, my definition of competitive means a chance to cash...in which case you have no chance. Three months of practice just isn't enough.

All I can tell you is to stop talking and step up and play some banks with great players. Bumping them around in your basement vs. playing the game under heat is very different. Saying a multiple rail bankshot is luck amongst great players is complete nonsense. There is much skill and knowledge that goes along with the game. You really sound completely clueless when it comes to the game and appears that I'm not the only one that feels this way.
