I just got this Russ Espiritu butterfly sneaky but have to sell it because I ordered a cue from Carolina Custom cues and it's ready MUCH sooner than expected. Need the $$.

I believe the center of the butterfly is Olivewood with some really nice figure to it. The veneers are black, silver (bluish), and olive green. Cocobolo points into maple. The joint is a standard SS 5/16x14 black with silver ring. 1 shaft approx. 13mm. Cue weighs 18.5oz. It's tapped for a weight bolt but does not have one. There is a black ring at the buttcap position with square inlays all the way around that appear to be MOP. Overall condition is about 90%. Has some normal surface dings (nothing that breaks the finish) and the buttcap has some wear on the bottom edge but that's about it. Cue is signed between the points 'Russ Espiritu 2002'.

$325 includes S&H (ground), PayPal OK, no extra fee charge.

Bump and drop

Gotta bump this cue. Espiritu cues are respected for being well made solid cues at a very reasonable price. His plane janes go for $300-$350 and this one is much fancier! I need the $ but can only drop it to $300 SHIPPED to your door. Don't think you can get another butterfly like this for basicaly $280. Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the bump and the nice words Paris. The cue is signed by Mr. Espiritu between the points. I will take a pic of the signature and post it tomorrow. I also emailed him about a weight bolt and he said it's a standard 3/8x16 threading. Would cost $10 from Russ shipping included. But being it's standard I'll see if I can pick one up locally.

Here is a pic of Russ's signature on the cue. Sorry on the trades, kinda need the $ for the new cue. Otherwise I'd trade it for that NICE Helmstetter you have Paris. :D

Thanks MM. I'm not really sure why there's no $ interest. I think it's a fair price.. I'm actually taking a loss on it. Maybe Russ's reputation has faded away. :confused: While I do appreciate the trade offers I would prefer to sell the cue to offset the cost of a custom cue.

I have a few Espiritu cues that i have been trying to sell.. and one that i recently sold at a few bucks loss.. i dont understand what the problem is, they play really good.. they look really good.. the prices are amazing compaired to what you get.. they should fly out of the case..

Thanks Chris. Not too long ago you could have easily sold your Espiritus for $350 and it was still a very good deal.

OK, how about $275 shipped. And if the cue isn't as described I will return your money. All $275, you just pay to ship it back to me. Best deal I can do.
 
this is a really nice(unique) looking cue. and for this price a really good deal. russ' cues play good too.
