1 Pocket Definition/Explanation- HE MOVES REALLY

Lots of different ways to define that, but generally, it is the subtle result of a shot.
Example: when putting a ball to your hole, not leaving it on the rail. Putting it on the rail makes it less of a threat..

It means he can't make a ball.
Or, he does a good job of hitting the rails.
Or, the game in its third hour and the score is still 2-1.
It means he knows the specific shots required for 1P. When to play them and executing them well.
I think it is more of an old school term, as it appears 1P is not as much about the moves as it was back in the day. Oh, you still need to know the basic moves, how to get out of breaks, when to take scratches, how to move balls from your opponents side to your side and not allowing him/her to shoot them away during their turn, how to clear pockets, lots of 2-way shots, sticking the cb in the rack, etc. I'm sure guys from 1P.org could write a few pages of this stuff
But is seems to be a lot more power 1P now, which is fun to watch. It's different game. It has evolved quite a bit over the last few decades. But, I'm sure someone has another take on this, just seems a lot different now then 20 or 30 years ago.

It is your shot and your opponent has a ball within the first diamond on the bottom rail near his pocket. Cb is between foot spot and bottom rail.
If you knock that ball 2 rails out of the corner formed by his pocket, the 'move' is to put it on the end rail in the other corner, off the side rail, where you will be able to bank it to your hole later. Leaving that ob on the side rail would not be as good a 'move'.

He moves well, he knows how to move usually means you know how to get out of a tough safety played by your opponent and in equal measure put your opponent in tough situations. IOWs, it refers to moving the CB well in defensive situations.
