I've been unable to figure out the 10 ball break. It seems on my diamond the second row always goes above the side pocket with the magic rack. The only way I can get the second row to go in the side pocket is with a medium break with draw. With a hard break and a square hit on the one ball the second row almost always goes high.
I've watched the SVB break video and Joe Tucker's Racking Secrets. But I still seem to be missing something.
So how do you adjust how high the second row goes, assuming a tight rack?
Cueball placement away from center 2nd row goes lower, More towards the center 2nd row goes higher
Softer break-lower, harder-higher
Draw-lower, follow-higher
Less hop-lower, more hop-higher
Also it seems like a minor cut and sidespin can affect how high the second row goes.
