Playing WPA rules the 10b has to go last. Playing old-school 10b you win. I like the WPA rules except for this scenario. I think you should be able to carom/combo the 10b for a win. That's how we usually play it.I have a combo on the 10 ball. If I play the combo and the 10 goes in what is the rule.
That is probably the least popular 10 ball rule. It has been added fairly recently. 10 ball was intended to remove some of the luck you see in 9-ball, and that goes a little farther towards that goal, so it fits with the intent but I understand why some don't like it.Playing WPA rules the 10b has to go last. Have no clue what UPA is.It would be legal under UPA rules (what OP wrote), if the pocket was called?
They still even exist? Thought they folded up.It would be legal under UPA rules (what OP wrote), if the pocket was called?
In the US there may be three different rule sets for 10 ball in five tournaments. On the other hand, you see the same problem with the break shot requirements at nine ball. About 20 different variants exist.Does the rule apply to every tournament? I was told by a friend that the US Open 10 ball tournament did not use the rule.
