10 ball

All caps is rude & a way of saying that your post is more important than all others. It is ok to capitalize a certain word here or there for emphasis, but anything more is rude.

As Tom pointed out, this oldman stick8 is no newbie (joined March 2003) so I am sure in the last 5 years he would be smart enough to figure out how forums work.

By the way, if someone at a pool room is shouting & especially if I am gambling, I won't hesitate to say something. Politely at first. Their reaction dictates what happens next.

By the way, if you search on the oldman's previous posts - he, most of the time, doesn't use all caps. Just something he started recently. Even the title of this thread is in lowercase.

Maybe the end of the month & he is out of his medicine??

Wow. Now I want to permenantly change my font to this. Can anyone tell me how I can do it without manually entering the settings every time?

I'm not sure, that font is cool though, kinda old school typewriter style
 
The sad thing is that 90% of you do not know how much Stick has done for pool in the Southeast. He used to run tournies all over Georgia and had a MAJOR following until he retired from it. Yes, he is an "older" gentleman that would give anyone the shirt off his back to help them so to you all giving him shit about the caps, I say BACK OFF! I owe him alot personally because without him, I probably would have given up pool a long long time ago. Dont be so simple minded that something as insignificant as all caps bothers you. JMO.

Southpaw, I think you fail to realize that Stick is partly to blame. Had he simply said, "I didn't realize how this is yelling" and conformed to what has become standard practice online, we would never have so much silly banter. Perhaps, if you owe Stick so much, you can go over to his place and remove the Cap-Lock key from his keyboard so he doesn't run into this problem again. Otherwise, he will forever be a target whenever he posts ANYWHERE, not just azbilliards.

He doesnt need to use caps or anything else just to get attention like a 3rd grader does. He just didnt realize.....whats your excuse??!!
