$100,000 Match - It Will Be Legit

I don't know what the deal was with Ko and Dennis match but feel this will be legit between Shane and Dennis. I feel this way not just because of the bad blood I believe is there but also because Mars is backing Shane in it from what I understand. I think Upstate Al does great stuff and if Ko and Dennis was not up to snuff I doubt he would have been apart of anything like that.

In reality as a streamer you have to trust that the money they say they are playing for is right, even if it is posted with you or you see the money doesn't mean it to be true and that goes for any of the action matches you see online. I trust this one to be legit 100% with no funny business and I think Shane gets the cash too. Anyone want a sweat bet? Helfert?! :thumbup:

On the Ko/Orcollo stream, John French said he is putting up half ($25,000) of Orcollo's $50,000 and Orcollo himself is supplying the other half. Hmmm.

I just know if Mars is on the other side I trust it. Not sure where the $50,000 is coming from on Dennis end. Either way it will be the match of the year.

Window is open ---- guess you missed French post where he basically admitted it. Beyond that, the window is open.
 
Don't be surprised if Dennis won....no likely but certainly possible. I think a 15 game spot is too much, he's a world class player. If somebody wanted to bet 2 to 1 on the money, I'd shove it in. Won't be too many betting DO even...
 
It would probably be worth the 1 1/2 drive for me to watch some of this in person but its probably going to be packed in there.

That does not mean Al knew it was not legit though. Two players with backers come up to me saying $10,000 a man and post the money but really are playing for $1000 a man it is not my fault for advertising it as $10,000 since I don't know. Either way I am not a French fan after that BS but still will watch Shane torch his horse. :smile:

I think you would get 15 games on the wire before 2-1 on the money in this one.
 
I'm confused

I'm not up to speed on all the pool talk, 15 on the wire, etc. What is that and are we talking about a spot for Dennis?

I still remember their Tar 10 Ball match. Shane put a beat down on Dennis, but I would expect their next marathon match to be closer.
 
15 on the wire relates to the string of beads above some tables for counting score. It means you start with 15 games ahead of your opponent (on the wire) before the match begins.

He knew. - he had French commentating on the match as well remember. It wasn't like Al was in an isolation booth the entire match.

According to the current Fargo Ratings (823-SVB, 816-DO), SVB is almost exactly a 2-1 favorite and the line should be around 8 1/2 games.

I have been asked twice to do a PPV with players chopping up cash and I declined. I actually have decline numerous times to do a PPV altogether over the 8 years. People will say there is good money in it and I am sure there is but I always like for everyone to enjoy it regardless if they are rich or poor. I am sure one of these days I might do one but only if I can't get sponsors to foot the bill first.
