Complete temperature controlled shop and happy about it. But I feel for you.

I'm helping all day at a yard sale here in the San Fernando Valley.

Murphy's law I guess.

Never could stand heat. Why I stayed in Alaska so long, and wish I wouldnt have left.

When I got out of trade school, I got hired on as a tool and die maker at a glass factory. Middle of summer in WV. 100 degrees 100% humidity. The hot shop at Pilgrim Glass was almost 140 degrees. You would finish a mold, take it to the folks in the hot shop and within a couple of minutes, you go from dripping sweat to bone dry. That freakin hot. The glass blowers worked an hour on a half hour off, hour on etc. And on their half hour breaks, they were in the break room gulping down water all day.

Luckily I was able to quit that job with no regret when they were downsizing. They fired the maint. dept and wanted to send the machinists up on the 50-75' high sheet metal roof to paint.

I said ummmmmm hell no.....
