I think this thread is a perfect example at how worthless all the sticky threads are. Sticky threads, when used in moderation are a good way to grab attention from the start to raise awareness. Once the attention has been grabbed, let it take on it's own life in the regular forum. When there's too many or they're left up for too long, they become part of the background scenery and are lost upon everyone, even the new members.
In answer to your question, in the middle of all sticky threads up top (seriously, does the photobucket sticky really need to still be up there?), there's a "club membership" thread.

A few days ago I proposed a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sticky that would allow us to remove most of the other stickys. I think most people would read it at least once, and they would remember it was there and they would check it when they had questions such as this.UrackmIcrackm said:
