I'm not sure if any has brought this up before but wouldn't it be nice to practice with an incentive. Since we post our high runs for the year, how about we donate a little cash to the highest run for the year. Of course we would have to eliminate the pro's (sorry John). And it would have to be taped as well.

Give your feedback and ideas.....

I am down for this but how about every 3 months. A year is a long time. No one person can win it more than a certain number of times. Everyone who gets in pays the winner 5, 10, or even 20 bucks on pay pal. I think this is a great idea. Maybe the pro's on here could chip in to the pot just to support us!

and and start off by holding up the day's current newspaper so we don't start pulling old video footage out and start submitting it at each other ..

Sorry, that puts me out. Too many on here that run high double digits and low hundreds. The idea of a place to post high runs is nice. But not at a cost.

excellent idea! we should all donate twenty bucks to the cause. I'm IN! i nominate Bob Jewett to be treasurer. we paypal our $$$ to him. what say you, Bob?

It would have to be limited to video taped runs. Too easy to cheat otherwise.

I ran 735 balls yesterday (see how easy)

Otherwise I prefer no money that way this whole thing continues to act like a support group rather than a competition.

Well maybe we should do a poll on this. What ever the consensus is will be how it goes.

I am in!
Like someone else said, I may not have much chance of winning but I would love the competition.

We also need a tournament director like Jay and Bob for Treasurer sounds great to me.

I think you would need to break it down into groups...look at last years straight pool challange and maybe

A. $20 --- 100 - 200
B. $15 --- 50 - 100
C. $10 --- 25- 50
D. $ 5 --- 0 - 25

group A throws $20 who runs between 100-200.... just throwing some #'s out there. Cause I'm not tossing $20 out for someone who can normally run a 100 more balls than me.
