So Morra lost twice to Deuel, 21-19 and 21-20. Ouch.

Morra"s a Champion and he"ll never let it bother him. He played fantastic but Corey was a machine. Morra broke on the hill but couldn't see the 1.was Corey's saving grace .Best match I've ever seen and I've seen a bunch

Watched the live stream Sunday with all the matches.

Both Corey and John played great, nothing to be disappointed about it basically came down to a few dry breaks. Congrats to both players for putting on an excellent match each time.

I do think that 9-Ball on a Bar box is just way to easy for these pro's. It is fun to watch but it's just way to easy.
I would rather see 8-ball on a Bar box rather than 9 or 10 ball. Just my 2 Cents of course.

Congrats again to both players awesome play.:D

Final Match

I may be confused but I thought Morra came from the loser's side. Morra would have had to beat Corey twice. I believe the finals were only one set. It went hill-hill and then Corey won. By the way, the final 8/9 were tied up and Corey had to break it out so he could pocket the 8. Talk about a nail biter until the end. It was a great match for sure.

Also not mentioned was that John won the first 8 games or so of the set so Corey was coming from behind the entire set.

I was glad to see him play well and get a big check.

Morra would have had to double dip Corey.

Congratulations to Corey!

Maybe if they played on diamond bb, it would've been more challenging.

I rather it being played on a diamond big table most.

If you're looking for bar box 8 ball, Poolaction TV will be streaming the Carom Room Spring Classic in less than 2 weeks. Killer field playing on 7 foot Diamond pro cut tables.

Yes, the finals went only one set. My comment "So Morra lost twice to Deuel" referred to the fact that Morra lost to Deuel in the hot-seat match as well as the finals.

Ya I caught that during the PPV stream. I'm just not a big fan of Bar Box pool. That being said a 7' Diamond table would play more difficult for them than the Valley tables but I still think it is too easy for a professional player.

And Dennis lost twice to John Morra! Both sets were close. Corey winning was kind of a surprise to me, but he did just win the big tourney in Oregon last month as well, with a large and strong field.

So the last rack was essentially for $13,000- quite a lot of pressure to play under.

It is not impossible for sure but I would be surprised if they were actually playing for the full amount.
With such a huge gap between first and second it simply makes sense to make a saver in the $5k range.
