It may depend on your definition of what "two of a kind" means. The cue looks to be a cross between two designs that Ernie used back then. Referring to his "catalog" from the 60's (see picture below) the cue appears to be the model 6th in from the right - with the exception that it has the ring work just above the wrap like the cue 7th in from the left. The rest of the forearm of both these cues are pretty much the same. If the threaded inserts in the shafts are SS and not brass then it is early, one of his first 50 -100.
Russ, looking more closely at your pics it appears your cue has plain block windows between the veneered windows in the butt sleeve. Not sure the cue I pointed out (7th from the right) had these.
