Here is part of an article about the restart of the pool World Championships in 1963. I suppose we can credit The Hustler for this rebirth.

I went to this in 1964 or was it 1963?
It was at the Commodore I know that.
Was it held there in '64 also?
If not then I was there in '63.
Looking at the player list I dont see Butera and I know I saw him, so maybe it was '64.
