I recently got a 1972 josswest cue mass by Bill Stroud. It was also supposedly Scott Frost old playing cue. I was wondering the value of this cue new and now and would it affect the value if I had it refinished. Pm me Any info would be great. Thanks in advance

I think the cue is worth $1600, and refinishing wont hurt the value as long as the work is
done by someone with a good reputation for refinish work.
It's important that the sideways-w logo doesn't disappear.

Nice cue

Yah Idk think it has had anything done to it. Im not going to do anything to it. I heard it was once belonged to Scott frost.

IMHO looks like non-original finish and non-original wrap anyway. Could be wrong. The cue makers will know better, but if it is from 72 I doubt that high gloss deep finish would be original. And I think a brown spec linen would be very non-characteristic for that time frame.

Value as was stated anyway IMHO.

Great cue!

I'd bet any amount of $ I could muster that this guy knows...wink wink....lol. after all he made it!!!!!!!

Yah Im sure he does. I've hit with it. It plays amazing. You can tell it's from an older error cause of how solid it is.
