FIRST $1000 CAN GET THIS CUE SHIPPING INCL.I purchased this cue back a few months ago and thought I would play with it I had it refinished at Proficient Billiards. This cue is like new again Brand new Triangle Tips 20oz boths shafts are 13mm ivory ferulles micarta joint cue hits great im just in love with my Joss West and cant get away from playing with it. When I spoke to Bert back in Dec. he told me he sold this cue for $900 back in the late 70's this cue as you can tell is beautiful the only reason I didnt have Bert do the work on this cue is because he Has Parkinsens and doesn't do any cue work at all. The blue book on this cue at 98% is $1400 I will leave it open to the best offer and we can go from there thanks.

Although This Cue Is Not My Style, It Is Certainly Part Of Pool History....good Luck With The Sale

Thanks, this cue IMO was made by one of the greatest cue makers of all times he is in the Cue Makers Hall of Fame he was inducted just a couple of years back. Its really to bad he got so sick so fast I speak to him from time to time and he has such a passion for cue making.

In case you didn't know, Bert passed away a month or two ago. Nice cue and good luck with your sale. he certainly did have a passion for cue making! he is missed.

That sale offering is from 2007, a new member dug the thread up for some reason. If the seller is still plugging away without a price reduction for 4 solid years at least he should get the AZ persistence award.

RIP Bert.

Thanks

Kevin

Color me embarrassed. Maybe I should look at dates before replying :embarrassed2: Oh well, it's always great to remember Bert. RIP indeed.

Thanks for setting me straight, I was watching efren and not paying much attention I guess.

Hope you boys are well & I'm glad you have this cue Russ, it's a beauty - only about 1-3 years away from me doing the inlay :)... I worked w/Bert 4-5 months in early 77.

Way old thread!!!

I have owned that cue for about 4 years now......

:)

Russ

I saw this thread and was all "didn't I just see a cue that looked way similar? I'll bet Russ is a buyer for this cue."
LOL. I think you showed me this exact cue just last week, I guess I was right about you being a buyer.
