1985-1987 early Franklin era Southwest cue with LOA.

I have been lucky enough to be able to hit some balls with this cue and believe me it hits amazing. The pictures just don't do this cue justice. They just don't make cues like this any more and this cue is top notch!

Trust me. I've been real close to making an offer on it. I can only imagine how well it plays because your'e right, they dont make them like that anymore. I priced out a new shaft through Laurie and they want $300 and 6 months for a new one. The stick may play well with a 12.25mm shaft but I sure wouldn't...

Troy,

I emailed you about a possible trade w/description and pictures.

Thanks, Dave

12.25mm is too small ? ? ? Sounds like a log to me...

Wow! I just received this cue after a trade with Troy. It's awesome looking and feeling. Although I haven't hit a ball with it yet, I just wanted to report that the shaft is much "meatier" than expected, which was my main concern. The very tip is 12.48mm, below the ferrule it gets thinner for about 2-3 inches 12.24mm probably due to years of sanding, but 8" from the tip it is over 13mm. I'm confident it hits like a monster as advertised. I can't wait.

I will say that Troy was the most professional person I have personally done business with on AZB forum. Including shipping labels, invoice, communication, packing, etc. And I have had a lot of successful transactions in this forum, for which I'm grateful. But if you ever get a chance to work with Troy, I would do it!

Thank you Troy,

Dave

Is the cue still for sale?

I am not looking to sell this cue now that I own it, but if you really want it...? PM me with your thoughts.
