Sad news...

James Hanshew got a new job and can't get his shift covered for this event and S&S cue won't be attending due to family health issues...Paul your family is in our prayers..

If anyone else knows and actual cue maker that would be interested in attending please help them contact me...The vendor rates are very cheap from what I've been told so far..
 
Great News!!

The Tip Dr. Ben Tubbs will be doing the tip repair for this event..For those of you that don't know been, he used to do all of the Tip Repair for CJ's when it was open..He does great work!!!

This Dallas area tourney has to fill ......... I heard the UT gets screwed again by BCS if it doesn't ............ so all the UT fans must come out!!!

I've been spreading the word around Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana while I 've been working, and from the sounds of things....
Shaping up to be a great event!
I hope to see a TON of AZers there in attendence, especially since this is the biggest thing happening in North Texas, Oklahoma, or anywhere else within 300 miles.
And I straightened out the barboxes last night.... with a for real level! lol:wink:

Well....

Zuid Thweib is our Ring game Champion. Zuid and Noel Torres battled for 2 hours in the finals to take home the winner take all $1,500 first prize. Matthew Cummings couldn't make it and Chip called around 11:30 last night wanting to know what time the ring game started Friday night. He said that he and Joey were both going to play. So if anyone is interested we can have another big ring game sometime over the weekend..As for the other player I have no idea what happened to them..

Around the clock action made this tournament what everyone wanted it to be..We had 25 players show up Friday night and 21 ended up playing on Saturday. Over $15,000 exchanged hands on the pool tables over the weekend. It was an unbelievable first event so stay tuned for the next event!!!! Thank you everyone for coming out. All Crazy 8's events in the future will have a guaranteed money amount.
