1st Annual Nick Varner Classic Pro Event $10,000 Added Guaranteed March 21-23, 2014

We are extremely happy to get the OKC boys at our event. Joey Gray and Chip Compton have both been announced and are coming to Felt for the Nick Varner Classic.

No measureman this is not the complete list of who has registered, this is just the ones that have been announced. I believe there are just a few spots left in the pro tourney. They are announcing them slowly to help build some anticipation and excitement for this event. They are first announced on Facebook, that is where the Str8 Shots advertising starts. Join us on Facebook!

More players to come......I hope we get your favorite player![/QUOTE]

If you can get Wimpy that will do.

Payouts 32 Player Pro Event with a Full Field

1st - 5000
2nd - 3000
3rd - 2000
4th - 1500
5th/6th -1100
7th/8th - 790

Top Lady Payout is $500 (Added in addition to the $10,000)

Too bad they didn't say, if two or three women play in the pro event, top two....would be guaranteed the five hundred. The only other women I could think of that would travel this far and pay that much up front to play against male pros might be Anna Kostanian from NM because shes only four hundred plus miles away. Unless the TX tornado comes up, but that's almost a thousand dollar nut. I would of made it three hundred....two hundred for the top two.

There are 3 pro ladies in the event so far. I know Melissa out of Denver is one of them but need to verify the other one.

Lmao
Dragon promotions.
There's a first class organization.

A word to the wise since your new at this str8shots, I wouldn't touch anything that has to do with Charlie Williams. He's skinned more then his share of room owners with his B.S. Promises, not to mention the women he's mistreated.

I am very well aware of Charlie's reputation and I realize his promotional stuff is on the flyer. That being said E.J. has always done a great job with the Wyoming and Saratoga Open's. There are no room owners to burn as E.J. owns all the tables, has them all set up in the community center, and he is responsible for the payouts. There has never been an issue with these tournaments.

As for Charlie's personal life it has nothing whatsoever to do with these events so I think it's ridiculous to bring it up in an effort to tarnish an event produced by a man you know nothing about.

If your in town on Thursday night come and join us at Felt Bar. All proceeds go to the Billiard Education Foundation.
