I'm playing some $2,000 sets of 10-Ball tonight. Each of us has froze up $10,000 a piece. We are playing until someone has lost all of their share. This will be at someone's home and it will remain anonymous. There are a few on here who know where this will take place because they will be there.

Both of us are Average players, but we decided to see which one of us was better under pressure. There are usually a couple of 3-packs put together when we play, but I don't know about tonight. This kind of pressure might make me fold. Wish me luck.

Stream it but fuzz out the faces so you can keep under the radar:wink:

J/K Good luck Allen.

So you are playing first to 5 sets ahead?? That could take awhile! What's the race to?

Have fun and keep it friendly. Get them to post...

Call Upstate Al to live-stream it and tell him to put a photo of Barton and Lou on you and your opponent's faces.

5 ahead. Races are to 7. The guy I'm playing is old and I'm hoping he will go downhill pretty quick. If he gets too tired I'd be willing to let him buy out, but only because I'm a pretty nice guy.

It should stay friendly. Everyone there will be carrying....as always. The money is already posted on both ends.

Carrying! !!! Ok then.

5 sets ahead race to 7 is going to take somewhere between 3.5 hours and infinity. If you really are playing "until somebody quits" age will be you advantage. Eat light and no caffeine or booze. Shoot the lights out. Gawd I'm jealous, miss being in action. Like a library here.

Good luck brother. Unless this match is lopsided, I don't see this actually getting to where someone is 5 sets ahead, racing to 7. Usually a fair match up goes back and forth on sets, with someone maybe winning 2-3 in a row. (And that's when its time to quit) I just don't see 5 ahead happening. But either way, good luck and get the cash!

Well, I wished I could say that you were wrong on this one, but you were spot on. I came out of the gate way too strong. The guys backer pulled up after the first set when I won it 7-1. The guy I was playing was shooting like a one eyed fish out of water.

I did feel bad for him and didn't want to cause any kind of drama because I was at his house playing on his table and only had one other person with me.......compared to his five. I was kind enough to let him know that I'm not looking forward to shooting as bad as he does when I get to be his age:cool:

He gave me a few drinks and we played some friendly games while shooting the breeze.
He's decided that he's going to stick to checkers and dominoes for a while. We had a good time that was filled with a lot of laughter and joking back and forth.

You showed too much speed. ;)

"Like a one-eyed fish outta water."
I may have to use that one...:D

Good shooting, Allen

Great post.

I might have quit on you too.

I don't really think an "average" player can put up a 3 pack of 10 ball. IMHO.
