that cue looks great. i'd be in love with it if it were a figured dark wood like african blackwood or something. the joint and micarta ferrules look great!

Cuebuilding is hard... taking good (decent) photos are much simplier - it's mostly the camera (Nikon D40) with a flashbox or lightbox or whatever it's called, (almost) anyone can take a decent picture.

Yup, the D40 is a great little camera. Monumental for Nikon, in fact. I got one in 2007, but have since moved on to a model with a higher ISO capability.

Looks like stabilized Elk to me.
