Hiya, finaly got my camera up and roling,

so i taped some games, and i got 2 racks on camera.
not the easyest, especially with the room being way to small for the 9ft'er, but its that or no table at all :)

(colin, if you are watching, you can see the BHE on some shots. (the positional shot on the first vid ) aim and pivot really helped my game alot. those hard shots, now are as easy as straight in's :D)

these vids are for your work on posting how BHE worked.

thanks to the window, i came underneath instead of above the 4 ball. grmbl. sometimes these walls make me crazy! a bank and a harder shot solved the problem.

the 8 was tied up by the 9. had to open it and get position on the 6, then the short cue again for the 7ball. if only my room was bigger...

Looks like some good shooting Solly!

I like your style, reminds me of my own! Especially when you jack up a little on that 8 ball!

Very nice table, just a shame we can hardly see you! Maybe you should call yourself the Shadowman!:D

Thanks for sharing!

Keep at it, make the out clean!! I would suggest lowering your right arm a tad, seems to me like you are hitting down into the cueball on a lot of shots, try to stroke level and through the CB ever shot, as parallel with the slate as possible! Try using the rail to brigde, like on the shot on the 3 ball in the second video. Both of those things will help keep whitey in check ;)

Eric.

You are a very good player. I would like to play in a controlled environment like that.

Keep posting your videos, it is interesting to watch

on the first rack, you should have gone 2 rails with high left to get on the 4 with the proper angle, but you know that already, right?

What happened to your black blinds for the window?

:) thanks guys:

scott: i was deadstraight on the 3. not even a slight angle to force it. i didnt want to run to far either, or the window would have hampered me even more then it did. so i played a place where i could play the shot, but the window didnt give me enough clearance to play the shot hard enough to come above the 4. like i said, darn windows #|@#|@#]%* !!!

i was already glad the 4 ball went in. i didnt think it would be so frustrating to not have enough space. i always thought.. ah what the hell, ill use the short stick if needed, but now that the table is setled, im getting VERY  very often. i just CAN'T play every shot, and i need to jack up way to often, runes every chance to ever shoot a good 14-1 run or so... and i was hoping to get to 50 this year and get it on camera... the blinds... my wife KILLS me if i change the red curtains.. it was a very expsenive gifts from her aunt and has emotional value. NO WAY i'm even going to risk to ask if its ok to change them !!! .:D i'm trying to find a tripod i can fix on the sealing, so i will tape the table downwards, should solve the darkness thing.

on the other hand, im playing position for my balls, AND position so the cb is not close to a rail :D helps my positional game.

cueblues: i will :) thanks for the compliment

runoutalloveryou: you should :D i'll be glad to comment it.

chilli: that jacked up 8, was my only chance... i had the wall behind me :D, i played it alot harder then normally, as i was afraid of the swerve... i think 30% of my shots i'm hampered. in 9ball i might have luck and have max 1 shot where i dont need to jack up, but in straight pool almost every shot i'm short of space...

I rack balls: i'll recheck the video when im at home. i think the jacking up is mainly because the walls or the camera angle that might give a wrong view. I have a snookerposition, and im as horizontal as it can be. But i agree, when i saw it on video from that angle i was like HUH? im not straight, but when i put the camera at the same level as my cue, its as horizontal as it can be. maybe its some angle distortion or so. The camera is at 1.70m high, and the table at... (no idea  )

ps i like the shadowman nickname :D (im usually always in black...

here's a picture of me during a scotish doubles... guess who i am?
