JB doesn't do clear and simple - where's the nonstop all-about-John internet drama in that? The last thing he wants is to make an actual bet and let you in on the attention.

My terms are clear and simple.

Correction. Backing out of the 30 grand bet was the smartest thing Karen did.
To me there's no status in beating JB.

Have to agree this is reasonable. If Barton really wanted to play he'd negotiate, but everyone knows he doesn't.
Up next: something to sell.
Quick funny story: I was at the DCC last year wandering around the arena lobby when this *really* attractive young woman comes up to me and says, "Aren't you the guy who beat John Barton for $10,000?" And I said, "Yes, that was me." And she says, "My husband and I were watching the match at home on our big screen. I watched the first few minutes, stood up and pointed to you and yelled, 'I want to bet a hundred on THAT guy!'"
She was really very sweet and we chatted a couple of times during the course of the event.

All you need to play Lou is to agree to my terms and we will then have mutual agreement. You're correct I am afraid to come to St. Louis to play you and especially not a six ahead set. And your dates don't work for me anyway even if I did want to consider changing my offer. But I don't.
Let ego lose you this money just like it lost you the chance to play for 20 last time.
I am not going through the hassle to negotiate with you when you are the better player.
You should have simply said yes. You still can.
I am willing to negotiate. If something in my counter doesn't suit you: make a reasonable counter.
