is there any onlineshop or so that tell the history of chalk? brands, prices, etc. the seem to be a fun collectable, and not the expensive to ship. but 200$ seems much

People collect old chalk like they collect old cues. They make nice display pieces in a billiard collection. I have a few old examples, but I doubt if any are worth $200.

This would be natural chalk with natural pigment, so it probably plays better than 90% of what you could buy today.

Mark and Connie Stellinga wrote a book on billiard collectibles that was based on their very extensive collection. I don't know of any good source on-line.

The highest I've seen on eBay for a single piece is $300 for a piece of Manhattan chalk in its own round tin. I've also seen $500 for two pieces of round National Tournament chalk with both ends uncovered. I haven't followed chalk prices for a while. One interesting one was:
