$2000 Added Winner Break Rack Daddies Quincy Il March 20th

What I can tell you is that the auction was
If I remember down to the penny
840
600
410
210 For the top 4

Tournament, I know 1st place was
775 not bad return for 40 bucks.
2nd place was close to 600
3rd place was between 3 and 400.

You should make the trip, you do not even have to stay over unless you get into the calcutta. I know you do not like bar tables but, they are like toy boxes compared to Gold Crowns.;)

I'm thinking about it. Yes, those are very nice payouts for $40.

I would play if???? I was eligible for the local player bonus

mark are u planning on playing in this tourney? that may be the deciding factor on whether or not we show up.

I am a stake horse. I play a little bit, with the emphasis being on LITTLE.
Watchez plays better than I do, I will play if I am eligible for the 2/3/4 $100 local player bonus? Otherwise I will just be stuck with picking the winner, or the 2nd and 3rd place finishers. I do not think me and my silent partner have lost a dime on any of these events yet in the auction.

If you are a LOCAL player? YOU HAVE TO PLAY. Hell mayble Sammie will go in half with me. I used to be able to run 4/5 racks? But that was 14 years ago. You are better off looking to see of Bobby Anders Sr is playing?

I WILL PLAY IF STAKED.;););););)

You used to be able to run 4/5 of a rack - is that 80% of the rack. That I MIGHT believe.

I kind of HOPED

your stakehorse for the tournament

I was hoping that after helping promote your events via AZ Billiards over the past few months, by word of mouth and by phone the HOST of the event would stake me?

Hell he would get half of what I win.

I doubt if I get staked, now if I was eligible for your lower handicapped player I may find someone willing to take a chance on me getting a BYE and advancing far enough to cash????

I must have discussed your event with 10-15 people at Teachers this weekend. With no tourney in Decatur, but one in Clinton IA you should get a good tournout.

Still NOT staked

Hell I might stay home and bet on basketball.

Mark

If you stay home help me out and tell me who to buy in the calcutta. You seem to always end up in the money on Sunday afternoons. Share your knowledge. ha

Yeah I get envelopes with large money orders

It depends on who is there. My mom is coming into town from Florida on Saturday the 20th, I asked her if she would be here on Sunday and she said YES, so?

I will probably buy the guy I bring with me. DD or AJ.

Just buy someone for 300 to 400 so I will be able to receive a larger money order on Tuesday.

Good Luck

Some are luckier than others

It takes a little luck, and some knowledge of just how good the entrants play. Usually skip the homers and buy a darkhorse who can take it off. Kind of hard sometimes when you have the two brothers and a cousin scenario? You know 3 guys cutting up what they win and figuring out how they can collectively make out.

Yes

Mark do you think there will be a better turnout from the out of town players this time?

Last month, players from North of Quincy ie Jamie Baraks and a few other players about 45 of them went to Decatur Illinois for a 500 added event that paid out less than 300 for 1st plus a 1000 side pot, which is an auction.

Plus the Cape tourny drew off maybe 10 players.

If the same players come out that did for 2/27 along with some of the guys that played in the two other events show up I am thinking 50 plus.

Definite two day event.

What do you think?:embarrassed2:

Well I just lost my silent partner for this event.

Things are not looking good for my trip to Quincy, unless I can find a silent partner for the auction. Send me a PM if you will be in Quincy and like to gamble on who I think will hit the board and collect some money in the player auction.

Thanks:o:o:o:o
