So now that we're for sure done with 2005 (I like to wait a few days just in case the accountants need a bit more time :) ) I thought that some selected results from JAMs thread on the 2005 AZB Readers Choice would be in order. I admit to being lazy and of limited attention, so I tabulated only three categories that I found most interesting and meaningful ...

So there you have it, a clear winner in the Pro Player category with the others being more closely contested. Congratulations to Efren, Fred, and Roscoe on their wins. Congratulations also go out to Drivermaker who placed very well in two categories ! DM finished ahead of some tough competition like BJ Trotter and Williebetmore, only to get banned in the process.

Dave, not an accountant but can count to pretty big numbers

PS I would also like to nominate an AZ BS'er of 2005 ... Hal for his totally silly vote in the original 2005 Readers Choice thread :D

I was just hoping for one vote out of all the categories but colin and girlwon1 went and ganged up on me, nvery nice of them nonetheless :D

I never got around to it before but:

Player of the year: Wu Manalo and Reyes (I've changed my mind and its allowed see AZ rules 6.1b!)

Funniest Poster: BoroNut (must be that british wit!)

Mensa Poster: Me (BUZZ: -1 for nominating myself, agh thats better 1 vote! :p )

Also Funniset moments:
- John wimms chasing john schmidt down the stairs of a night club in taiwan barking at him to play him at snooker after they had been winding each other up about a game of 9 ball!

- The Lions "grow two inches" quote

- Earls "it takes him two hours to watch 60 mins quote"

- Ronnie O scratching his own face on Tv when he missed a shot!

- My chair collapsing in front of everyone at the world summit!

- watching reyes get mobbed by a gang of taiwanes girls, shake his head and run back to the practice pit in taiwan in a panic!

- Watching Manalo smash his cue on the side of the table and Reyes arguing with the racker when I was playing them ;)

- coming out of the bathroom at 2:0 up in a race to 3 against a player in the hard times mini only to see another guy playing on our table! I had broke and made a ball and had an easy run out, my opponent said he didnt realise until it was too late! I was so upset after he put the balls back in the wrong place I played my next shot with my phonelic tip break cue and scratched lol! :confused:

From what I've heard Craig your chair collapsing at the World Summit might take the cake for the funniest moment LOL! Don't worry I saw a similar thing happen last week to a friend and I didn't stop laughing for like 15 minutes:)
 
It was pretty damn funny when Craig had the Pearl down by a good margin in Cambridge, but couldn't beat the mouth. Oh wait, that wasn't funny at all...

Man, I missed this thread COMPLETELY. Don't finish counting just yet, I need to complete my selections tomorrow and bump it back to the top. This DCC/AZB room thing is really eating into my AZB forum time.
