I was just looking at some funny t-shirt online. Some website had a slogan contest and whichever one was voted the best, they would produce and sell on ebay. I don't know which one won, but there was one that just cracks me up! It says "If you wet this T-shirt, all you see is minus points"KidRockGirl said:LOL! Late bird as I am, I just got my hotel reservations in. Just FYI, there are still rooms available at the Executive West for the DCC rate of $69. I got a double (two queen size beds).
I also found out that they do have a shuttle or something that runs from the airport. They said that there is a number near the baggage claim to phone in for a shuttle. They said it should be on the wall near the baggage claim area.
If anyone has done the shuttle before, maybe they could elaborate...

Put it this way, if a plane runs off the end of the runway, like SW did last week at Midway in Chicago, were all goners. The airport is that close to the hotel.Samiel said:

Just a heads up AZers...there's 3 mini's at @25.00 entry each. If you don't mail your dough in to DCC office there's a good chance of getting shut out as mini fields are limited to 64. Last year there were 4-$20 entry bar table tourneys per day with calcuttas! See ya there.

I'll make a deal with you... you provide the computer and I'll provide the pics. I'm bringing my digital camera & the USB cord.... My second year, but last year hardly counts. I spent half of last years DCC in my room with the stomach flu.

Sounds good Timberly. I have a Sony laptop with a built-in Memory Stick reader as well as a Sony camera, so it's easy for me to take pictures and upload them. I suppose I could get one of those 8-in-one card readers in case anyone else wants to upload some pictures.
Of course, I don't think there will be Internet access in the Shannon Room, so we'll have to find some time to do it in the lobby or something.
I also have a digital video camcorder, but I wasn't planning on bringing it along unless someone really wants me to.
By the way, I'm going to make some room on http://www.virtualpoolhall.com to post these pictures. Hopefully I have enough bandwidth!

I have received some emails about wanting to try out the X Breaker in the Derby. Since I am not a vendor this year, I can only bring my own X Breaker with me. I will not bring any cue with me or have any booth there.

Can anyone at the DCC please post up plenty of pictures and stories of the things going on? I would like to know what I'm coming to when I come to the DCC next year!
