Bluegrass !

Great Looking Cue but Isn't $1700 a bit high on that ? I could be wrong but $1250 sounds about right on that cue.

Great cuemaker, nice coke, but yes, $1700 is a bit high. A $700 premium over the average BEM price isn't what you would expect, especially in this cue market. Still, a very, very nice cue.

Those rings are an up charge as well as the JP's . I have a wrapless ebony one That I paid $1500 for that i wouldn't sell for $1700 They are that good. Plus it seems that nobody really cares about Maple cues right now unless they are incredibly figured so I guess that if it were maple I would call it a $1250. I'm sure he would also entertain offers.

Bust of luck with your sale !

F.Y.I. I find it in very poor taste to comment on a sellers price in their thread. If you have a problem with it , don't buy it!

In the immortal words of mike tyson "If you don't like it, change the station!" I can attest to the quality of this cue, it's beautiful in person. Bluegrass cues are worth the jack, and CP is a good azer to deal with. Props to you matt, people shouldn't dump on another man's porch-JUST MY OPINION. Good luck with the sale.

PM Sent,

Thank you

I have the same exact cue. The only difference is that the ring work is brass instead of silver and I have a super nice boars hide leather wrap.
It is my favorite player :ok:

Just like my friend Tony, I had a Richard Harris very similar to that one an in excellent condition. I had one of the cues in the Blue Grass website. The condition of my Blue Grass was (according to the pics) in the same or near close condition to yours. Well! in this extremely soft cue resale market, you will probably not get no where near the asking price. $1100 would be more like it. And if you get that...its good. I wish you the best regardless. I really hope you get your asking price. It will be a good thing that people are buying cues for what they are really worth. Take care.

Great cue........

Definitely a great cue but a price that will sell the cue would have to be around the 1100-1300 range. Its worth every penny of the 1700, but I havent seen one of these sell for more than 1300.00. Good luck on the sell though, Again it's a great cue

I appreciate all the sentiments regarding this cue.
To those who feel the price is too high, what did you expect? The few that are wadded up about my asking price are the same guys that would offer me 2 cents if I was asking a nickel for it!

Am I supposed to start at $500 and go up? Doesn't work that way folks!
The off the cuff appraisals don't offend me, because those that are truly interested in this cue know what it is, and will be worth.

So fire away if it makes you feel better, kick this sale as hard as you can, and to those who have offered advice with good intent, I thank you.

1100? If I had 1100 on hand, I'd get that sucker. Actually, I do have 11 C notes on hand, too bad they're for tuition. :frown: :frown: :frown:

Chris

I consider my earlier post in the latter of your categories. I offered advice with the best of possible intentions. I had a Blue Grass, played with a Blue Grass, and spoken a couple of times to the maker himself mister RICHARD HARRIS. Personally, I think you should hold until you get that $1700. That was the advise given to me by a reputable dealer when selling mine. I should have heeded that advice.
