I would like to thank all of the officials, volunteers and players of the WPBA Tour for providing this old man with great pool, great people, super friends ( except for one) and venues that are enjoyable to "sweat" the matches for the ladies I call my "sweat-hogs", ala John Travolta; that term is a compliment.

Some of these ladies have become very dear friends and we have shared much time together outside of the tournaments:

Jeanette yells at me but consider her my best friend; after Cheyenne
Anna lets me be her grandfather but won't let me break harder than her
Allison reminds me I am "doomed";we share the same birthday; different years
Kristi provides additional work assignments to keep me busy
Monica sponges gum from me to feed her habits; 1. likes gum 2. is cheap
Sarah R. dodges paying the judgement I have on her from injuring me
Helena doesn't like me to sweat her matches; I must be 2 tables away
Melissa H. accepted my apology when my fart machine went off accidently
Karen C. is a doll and quite a talent and young lady
Julie has apologized to me every time she knocked me down going for a smoke
Sarah E. has been very friendly and interesting to talk to; same birthday as
Kim W. said she wasn't a snob but wouldn't talk because of my "fame"?ok now
Tina was very, very nice and then quit competing
Jenn has accepted a dancing challenge by me with JL; Guru with Jenn & JL!
Miyuki now talks to me after learning I was a pedestrian, not a pedophile
Jennifer C. knows I am a pedophile not a pedestrian
Mark W., St. Louis Cardinal fan knows I hung Cub bb cards in his poolroom
Steve determined I was not the asshole he may have originally thought
Peg tolerated me as I would inadvertently annoy her at the tourneys
Laura very friendly to me always after I drove her to the venue
Ga Young beat me in a 9 ball race to 2 in 3 minutes with no shot 4 me
Kelly F. just beat the hell out of me with that Irish smile
Mitch has still never talked to me; maybe he saw me stalk the Viking?
Liz is a class act and rising star
Dawn was recluse until I told her she looks better now than on ESPN classic
Jasmin only talked a little to me but has an awesome personality & talent
Gerda allowed me to practice my German while she taught me pool
Vivian seldom talks to me but is always friendly when she does
Kim S. is sure I am a pedophile, very quite; bet she has a clean house
Megan has the best strut/stride on the Guru list; beat me in 14.1
Alice has always been a great person to me after I fed her; thanks Alice

Ewa, Ewa? she has been friendly but tough. Refused to autograph my copy of
"Pool for Dummies" as she said I could not comprehend; bought 2 of
them and suddenly I was smart enough. My Ewa goal for 2008 is
dinner with Ewa before Mitch gets to the Venue.



Thanks to all as I complete my 4th year on tour; expect to make them all this year and go undefeated in the pro-am challenges for charity.

yeah, I know, collecting debts is a necessary function but in the credit card industry, it is made far less than noble by virtue of the fact that the issuers literally pimp the consumer into taking on more debt than they can handle.

And regardless of WHY people get into financial trouble, it takes a particularly warped mentality to ENJOY making distressed people and families even more so.

I must say though that your penchant for self-aggrandizement and what IMHO is fairly extreme sensitivity are often associated with a lack of true self-confidence.

I don't know you and therefore, have nothing against you personally, although I do feel that your insistence on using mega-caps, while your right unless instructed otherwise by the mods, is irritating to many posters who have done you no wrong and yet you ignore their wishes for the sake of exercising your rights.

However, I have been a professional Investment Adviser for over 35 years serving very high net worth investors. I am quite sure that I can give at least as much education as I might get on any finance-related subject you might choose to discuss. I could write extensively about the extent of my achievents in the investment arena, but unlike you, I am for too modest to do so.

But we might spend some quality time discussing the Universal Default clauses in the credit card agreements issued by your beloved industry. You know...the one that says that if you are late on ONE payment to ANY credit card company your rate can and at an alarming rate WILL be jacked to 30%. AND your credit score will take a hit which will encourage OTHER issuers to jack your rate too.

We can also discuss my opinion that credit card issuer abuses will become a scandal in 2008 on a par with the Sub-prime mortage scandal of 2007.

Then we could go play some...but it is not my policy to accept credit cards as payment. Cash only...on the light...up front.
