2007 VA State 9 Ball Championships!

Larry lost 2 sets. He came back and used that as motivation for his play on Sunday!

No...Brandons stake was name Christian. I think he lives in VA. Does anyone know how the action game between Brandon and Larry at sidepockets turned out? When I left Brandon was up one set. Thanks in advance.

You'd have been proud of the way I played with the exception of those 3 shots in my 4 matches. Simple fact, I didn't have my eyes focused right on them and it cost me. I'm working on it. I fought back from 6-8 to win on the hill and from 2-4 to win on the hill and that 2nd match I was in absolute control especially on the last 2 racks. Wait til next year!

Thanks Tony. I didn't notice the hat removal but Rich's pics show you are correct! He did tell me that I got more games off him than anyone except for Larry. Oh, and that I pocket balls beautifully for a 50 year old guy. I'm going to make him pay for that comment the next time we play! ;)

He's a terrific young player with a lot of heart and a wonderful knowledge of , and respect for, the game.

Brian in VA - the pics make me look older than 50 though!

All right, I'm dying to know who the two big guys were! :p

Was one named "Jerry"?

Nope! Guys name is Chris from Alexandria and his brother.

And yep, they like to gamble some.

When they said "big" and from "Virginia" and liked to "gamble," I could only think of one guy, Big Jerry! :D

Brian...Glad to hear that. Nice job! Always a thrill to come from behind and win. We'll work more on your P.E.P. next time I see you! It's an absolute necessity! ;)

Tony...Thanks for the update. I always EXPECT Brian to play well! I'm sure you'll be there too!

That's the problem when a student with just a little bit of talent hires a coach with a lot of talent and commitment. They start raising your expectations and want you to live up to them. :D It's a good feeling!

Thanks Scott!
