2007 WPBA on ESPN2 tonight

Help

I hope this is on again so that I can watch and listen a second time.
I swear on two occasion I heard Mitch call Kim the yellow one. I would think that to be quite offensive unless I heard him wrong or there is some meaning behind it. Did anyone else hear this or can you tell me what he actually said.

It's especially aggravating when a player pockets a ball but gets terrible shape, and they still have the audience clap! What would Earl say?? :D

I heard Mitch refer to Kim as 'the little devil'. I hope that he wouldn't say 'the yellow one'.

We were talking about that last night while watching it at the pool hall. Were like wow.. shes looking better and better. Shes so pretty.
 
I enjoy watching the women play...........but enough with the clapping.

Audience claps when they miss, they clap when they hook themselves, they clap when someone pushes out, they clap when someone shoots a duck, they clap when poor position is played, they clap for a time out.

Clap when a player makes a great shot/shape,safe, run or win. Period!

I would have to guess that the audience is told to clap for TV excitement, otherwise there must be some real stupid people in the audience.

Personally I turn down the volume.
 
Allison is one of few players I see who use an open bridge almost exclusively. That's how I do it, and I enjoy watching her play. I wonder if she stays in the US or if she commutes back and forth from England for the tournaments.

Allison fisher and kelly fisher both live in Charlotte, NC. Yet i've never seen Allison around here.
 
Both Players werent at 100% in the final. Kim made mistakes and Alison capitalized, when Alison made mistakes however Kim was unable to take advantage, if she had, I feel it would have been a hill/hill match.

If Ga Young Kim could keep her cool when she scews up or gets bad rolls she would be very hard to beat IMO. Johnnyt

I guess the reason I use it is because that's how I learned to play when I was a teenager. The only tables in town were snooker tables and open bridge seemed to work better. Then I quit for about 30 years until I retired and started playing again so the open bridge just works better for me. I've had it explained and recommended to me to use the closed bridge on certain shots and I understand why, but I still use the open bridge most of the time.
