2008 US OPEN (Does player need staking)?

Hi, I am looking to put a player or players into the US Open this year... I am not interested in talking in a public forum about the details.. I will say I dont want to stake a regular old filler player... The entry has gone up and I thought there may be a player who is strugling to make ends meat and may need the stake... With price of gas alot of people are struggling...
I would like a horse that at least plays as good as Mike Davis.. Thats a good starting point... \

also i too am looking to put a couple of players in the open but they have to be good enough, so if the following players will ez me i would appreciatte it, Shane Van Boening, Ralf Souquet, Alex Pagulayan and Dennis Orcullo. I will put you all in and we split the money 60/40, shoot i'll go 50-50. LOL
 
How much are we talking about to stake a player to the US Open? I might be interested also. Johnnyt

Yes thats the horse I want,,, Put his entry up then he will be at Q-Master all night long gambling then forfeit his match or dump because someone got him a cheeseburger.

I heard it's gone up to a C-note with the increase in fuel prices and the rising costs of cheesburgers. :)

I'll let someone stake me if they pay me 500.00 for expenses. If i cash they get there 600.00 back and the rest we split, but i need 500.00 for expenses. (:
