Hello All!

This is just an update for this year?s tournament. If you haven?t signed up for this year?s tournament, you had better do so soon. We are just 18 days away from the 5th Annual VA State 9 Ball Championships and things could not be better. The tournament is filling up faster than expected and there are only 64 players allowed in the event. Remember that this tournament not only gives you the title of VA State 9 Ball Champion for the year, but also pays your entry into this year?s US Open in Chesapeake, VA. In case you had not heard or read the news, the entry fee for the US Open has been raised to $600.00. By winning this year?s State Tournament, you will entered into the 2008 US Open but also have some cash on hand to pay for some expenses.

I got your PM this morning, Josh. We are still thinking about coming very strongly.

My nephew who is doing his first tour of duty in Iraq for 15 months is coming home in several days for a visit, but I am not sure how long he will be here. I don't know how long they allow them home from the tours of duty. I will let you know as soon as I find out. It seems like the Army waits to the last minute to let anybody know anything, I am learning.

Thanks for the PM and your acknowledgement of Keith! We both think the world of you, and there is no doubt that the Virginia State 9-Ball Championship is a good time to be had by all. :)

One of my favorite memories with Keith is your tournament. Man, did we have fun! :)

2008 VA State 9 Ball Championships is Full!

For those that are interested in trying to play, the only way you can get in, you should show up @ 9am on Saturday and get on the wait list. It is first come, first serve.

I will let you know, the probability is slim to none of vacancies, but you never know.

PLease come down and enjoy the event and make sure I have your email address and I will email you a flyer for next year's event and any future event I might be putting on.

I hope to see you all this weekend for the 5th State Championships!
