I'll be there, playing singles, scotch and team, altho I still haven't met one of the gals on my team and barely know the other one, lol.

Had a little $15 entry tournament warmup today - 9ball on the Diamond bar boxes. All the 9's and above. I lost my first match, races to 5, and came back around, then Mike Z. (my hubby) and I played in the finals.

I didn't know this until I just got an email from Cheese saying that there is a forum on his site http://www.onthebreaknews.com/PoolPages/index.php and one of the forums is on the Western BCA Championships. I will be doing a little blog there every day and observations as a player and an interviewer.
I was surprised to see quite a few AZers already posting over there.
Also, I read that besides the green fee, there is another difference and that is OPPONENT racks. It is not rack your own. That makes sense for 9ball.
