some rankings tidbits I find interesting,
If Dott loses to Selby, he will move up from 28th to 14th
If Dott beats Selby to reach the finals, he will move to 13th yet if he wins the championship, he still won't improve his ranking past 13th
Selby needs to win the tourney just to MAINTAIN his 7th rank
If Carter beats Robertson he finishes the season at #2 whether he wins the tourney or not
Dingh Junhui has improved from 13th to 5th despite his poor showing at the worlds by virtue of the highest scoring 2009/10 season
Mark Williams will finish either 8th or 9th from 15th
and John Higgins was already guaranteed the number 1 ranking entering the tourney no matter what happened, surpassing Ronnie who will finish at either 2 or 3

there's a good chance next year's tourney will have alot of guys playing for the #1 spot, I also wouldn't be surprised if Dingh Junhi clinches it before then
