2015 American 14.1 Straight Pool Championships

SAVE THE DATE ... Oct 22-25th, 2015

Just announced from promoter extraordinaire Peter Burrows! The 2015 AMERICAN 14.1 STRAIGHT POOL CHAMPIONSHIPS tournament will return to DIAMOND BILLIARDS in Midlothian, VA. We had a fantastic event here back in September, 2014 and the room owners Tom and Cindy Dorsey are excited to have us back in 2015. Darren Appleton was victorious last year with a win over Karen Corr who really showcased her outstanding 14.1 skills during the weekend.

The dates of the event are Thu-Sun Oct 22-25th. The US Open 9 Ball Championships starts the next day just a couple hours down the road. This tournament pairing promises to entertain pool players for almost 2 weeks! Megan Fort returns to run the show as our Tournament Director.

This is AWESOME news! I attended last years tourney and was really impressed by all of the play. Diamond Billiards provides a great atmosphere and staff to support events such as this. The room size enables fans like me to get up close and personal with the players as opposed to the US OPEN stands. Every player was on his/her best behavior....even Mike D after Karen crushed him.

Plus....I get to see Mr. Burrows and his Rambow cue again. Can't wait!

i wasnt able to watch much of the stream, and I am choming at the bit for more 14.1 footage !!

I was hoping there would be footage of Tom Walters, from what I heard he was playing the opening breaks with Inside English and having real good success with it.

I really look forward to watching all the footage here, if I could remember my Vimeo sign in I may even download them so I can watch them on my 48" Plasma
