2016 Bigfoot tourney at DCC

what? No Alex?

Gideon<~~~~wouldn't bet against Alex

Alex is in the field. Karl did not respond when asked about playing this year. Skylar also didn't seem that interested when the conversation came up. You have to want to play in this tournament!

There has been one change on our player list - Mike Dechaine has dropped out and Skyler Woodward has replaced him. Next up alternate is Ko Pin Chung.

Wasn't Ko P-C the first alternate? (Post #19)

So, if I have it right, the field now is:

Appleton, Darren
Bergman, Justin
Biado, Carlo
Bustamante, Francisco
Cheng, Kevin
Chinakhov, Ruslan
Feijen, Niels
Ko, Pin-Yi
Morra, John
Orcollo, Dennis
Pagulayan, Alex
Reyes, Efren
Shaw, Jayson
Van Boening, Shane
Vann Corteza, Lee
Woodward, Skyler

We reserve the right to invite the players as we see fit. I had reached out to Skyler before and got no response, but when we found out he wanted to play I moved him back up to first alternate. We wanted him in the original field.

He is the most promising yioung American player to come along since Shane and we wanted to give him the chance to compete against the best in the game on a 10' tsble. As for Skyler he is out to show the world that his big table game is every good as it is on a small table.

Skyler showed us all a lot at the Mosconi and is clearly on an upward trajectory. This field may be a bit much for him at this stage of his pool career, but if he makes a habit of competing with the most elite at every opportunity, he'll keep growing in his game. Wish him luck and look forward to watching him at the Derby.
