2016 US Open 10-ball/8-ball on Youtube

I'm still wanting to rewatch the 2013 US Open 8ball final between SVB and Biado on a 9ft diamond.

It was alternate break and both player BNR all the way to 11-11.

I think Justin said the tape was ruined???

Good videos but, and this is just my take, watching top-level pros play tournament pool on a bar-box is BORING. Now, if they were playing for a large stack of benjamins i might watch.

I hope Cornerman knows I was just messin' with him about the commentator "warning." He's my favorite commentator and I wish he did more of it.

Sorry to leave you hanging. I'm not able to give you more greenies, and need to spread the love.

Aren't the US Open 9 Ball matches played on 9 foot tables? If so, why are the 10 and 8 ball matches played on a smaller and much easier 7 foot tables?

The events are owned and produced by CSI, who run their events on 7' Diamond tables.

The US Open 8-ball matches was just recently put up as well.

Warning for those that didn't know, these CSI events are held on 7' Diamond tables.

That 7' thing is my #1 beef with the CSI stuff lately. I have a lot of respect for Mark and for CSI as a whole, and I know why he went with 7 footers, but I think the reasoning is a bit off (outside of the fact that it's cheaper to run and can hold more tables in an area). I don't think having events on 7 footers will bring in more watchers from leagues or new players over having them on 9 footers, unless there is some other factor like "free beer" that changes the ratings.

I know lots of "major" events are played on 7 footers now, and that's pretty sad. Plenty of players were saying the same thing now, someone at a tournament this past weekend was saying how pros were playing on 7 footers and the second guy said "well sure but that was not a real pro big event", but it was. Even those players that don't follow the sport closely were amazed that a big tournament would be held on 7 footers.

Another warning: Cornerman is one of the commentators.

LOL

I know that was a joke, and I know Freddie will smile at this.

He is the first guy to say bad things about himself, like how bad his game is now while he runs 3 racks on you LOL

Not as bad as Mike Dechaine forfeiting (no heart)

Mike Dechaine forfeited in one or more of the CSI US Open matches, which tells me he either has no heart or is disrespectful toward his opponent, OB sponsor, and pool in general. Maybe the size of ones HEAD does matter.
