2016 World 9-Ball Championship

4 balls on the break this time with another great spread. AO is going to be tough to beat if he keeps breaking like this.

3-1 now over Jayson

I think Jayson is better player than Albin
But I am afraid for this tourney Jayson may be out of gas in this tourney after 3 big matches
Albin can slow down the tempo and grind to get the win

Shaw is certainly more talented (hell, he's more talented than 99% of the field, only Wu has the same natural flair), but I have some doubts about being a better player. Let's not forget that Albin the past 3 years has reached the final, last year he only lost to an imperial Wu in the last 32 and this year he is already in the quarters and looking good for the semis. These are stats that even some so-called monsters never reached in their career.

I agree. Albin has already had a 2nd place at the World Championships and has racked up numerous Eurotour titles. Jayson's competitive resume in the big events isn't nearly as impressive, and his title count in big spots is small.

The sky is the limit for Jayson, but for now Albin is rightly judged a slight favorite in this match, due to his resume of titles and his vast experience in WPA play.

I don't think fatigue is a factor at all in an event in which you never play more than two matches in a day, especially for Jayson who is in the best shape of his life right now.

All that said, I'm rooting for Jayson. He can rally from 6-3 down if he catches a stroke.

You dont want to play a game of chicken with Shane when his break is working. Better hope he blinks first if you're Kazakis. Any lead better than no lead though

5-5 another break and run from SVB

What a performance from both players!!
10 games 9 break and runs so far

Kazakis is a rock solid player, as evidenced by his 11-3 win over Pagulayan at the 2015 US Open 9-ball. Shane is, of course, better, but this is no easy assignment.
