Based on the fact that without paid subscription you can claim millions of people watched it, but based on Facebook likes of the event, it only received just little over 48k likes. There is no way in hell of counting free viewers, so any number of viewers can be thrown out there.

How many paid subscriptions were there.???

When someone like Netflix says they have 139,000,000 million viewers, they can do so, because they can back their claim because those are PAYING subscribers, and not inflated to make them look good!

There's an entire industry built around the estimation of viewers for TV broadcast events. While these methods do utilize statistics, they are relied upon heavily. In fact, the end product of this industry -in turn- drives billions of dollars of advertising budgets.

So, again, where did your 117k global viewers come from?? (i assume out of your as& ... but please correct me if I'm wrong)

Well, when your glue tour comes online -and begins competing head-to-head with Matchroom sports, you can argue viewership numbers with them. In the meantime, why are you pissing on this event?

The fleecebook numbers were just for countries where there were no national broadcasters.

I believe there were zero paid subscriptions. Why do you think there were any?

The Mosconi Cup model appears to be to have actual advertisers who will pay real money to have ads during your program because lots of people want to see your program and will also watch the ads. In such a model, there is no need to charge for a subscription.

Come on guys, let's talk about what may be the turning point in our sport, instead of a *issing contest.

For the final 16, there is only 1 table. So each match will be broadcast. I'm not sure for the double elimination stage.
For the Matchroom World 9-Ball Championship broadcast (~2002) there was one TV table but a camera would occasionally focus on one of the other tables during slack times.

I can't imagine that they will stream all 32 other tables during the first stage.

I think they meant, subscription TV channels, i.e. here in the UK it was not on free to air tv, but on Sky Sports, which is a subscription service (or pay per view).

Is Sky Sports a monthly charge or a per-event charge?
