2023 Predator WPA Women's World 9 Ball Championship

How can you tell from a stream? The diff. in 4.5 and 4.25 are basically unseeable on video. Again, WHY does this matter? You think they made special pockets just for this?? A buddy has played a few of the 10b stops and all had 4.25 corners.

tbh i've been wondering myself. it's not because it matters, it's because they've been having these predator events with predator tables for over a year now and these do seem different than the ones in earlier events.

in what way?? do you think they made a batch with 4.5" pockets?? c'mon man.

Not worth arguing here but there is a huge difference between 4.5 and 4.25 pockets, in the way they look from an overhead and in the way they play. In our room, we have 4.75, 4.5, 4.375 and 4.25. There is even a very significant difference between the 4.375 and a 4.25 in the way they look and play.

One thing is clear, these top women pro players play absolutely awesome. From what I’ve seen, Allison plays virtually as good (possibly even better as far as her overall game) as she did 20–25 years ago, it’s just that her competition is just that much better.

Love to have seen her and Balukas when both were at their peaks. Two best female players i've ever seen. I know a few Asian players would be in the mix but i haven't seen much of their play.

I too am impressed. To even want to still play makes her an outlier. Both her and her game have aged like fine wine.

Allison is certainly in a zone today. It’s not like Christina has made many mistakes, but she’s just getting outplayed!

AF's composure is insane. She stays down on the shot long after the cb is gone. Textbook form even under the gun. Strong medicine.

I've really enjoyed this tournament. I never liked watching the women in the 90s, it just seemed boring. I think the modern women play a bit quicker and I'm SO HAPPY they all drop their elbows a mile now like the men. It seemed so unnatural the way they played like robots with fixed elbows before.

speed of play and miss frequency has been a deterrent for me, but it really is getting better. taiwan is coming strong, korea too. and chezka is a breath of fresh air.

super impressive by fisher to come out of retirement and keep up with these young talents

I wasn’t aware Allison had retired? Hasn’t she still been playing most of the WPBA events in recent years, as few of them as there are?

It seems she no longer travels as much internationally to play in WPA world championship events or other major international tournaments, like she used to.
