2025 AZ Billiards Straight Pool Challenge!

I think you should post any decent run no matter the length. Plenty of people enjoy them and might learn something that helps them.

Another possibility is they may offer advice to help you improve your own game.

Glad you found out about follow on break shots. Many players never learn that it helps avoid scratches and avoids the CB going up table.
Oh, I agree. I have posted several videos. That one guy ticked me off with his missing posts from John Schmidt saying he ran 300. I am not sure how that helps anyone, but I guess he just liked having a chat with him. I admit to having trouble letting it go. He hasn't posted anything stupid since then though, so I will try posting again, the next time I record a 50+ ball run. I only save those to my channel.

Well, I learn more and more that a lot of around 600 or less Fargo just don't know how to hit pretty powerful high action cueball shots. They hit lower and don't get the same action. I have shown several the difference when we have played. They don't hit high enough.

Great shooting all! Lots of new entires, and a few existing entries bumped up a bit higher. First post updated.

*I'm having trouble adding the table to the post. I have pasted a screenshot of the scores until I can resolve the issue.

Not quite 50, but wanted to post a video since I have new carpet. I can play longer, with less pain, so carpet it working out. I like that my pace was like 50 balls in 30 minutes and racks weren't all that easy. I think I was a little slow before, so hope I can keep this up. Maybe I should have just hit low and soft on the ball I missed?

You're doing a lot of things well. Good shotmaker, walk the table, check angles, excellent focus when down on the ball. You are pretty slow and deliberate, not good rhythm. May be something to work on as you progress.

Your shot selection seems fair to good. It's tough to assess due to the camera angle of the table. Those of us watching are often in the dark as to certain angles, whether a ball passes, etc. Just as an example, take a look at Peppersauce's vid of 51 from the 2024 challenge. If you could get a similar camera angle it would be helpful.

As far as that last shot goes, it's difficult to know what you were playing position for. 8 in the side, 7 in the corner? If I had to guess why you missed it would be due to uncertainty, getting caught between thoughts when down to shoot.

Good shooting overall. Keep posting and please try a different camera position.

76 Ball Run. Tried that different camera position as requested. The other camera position is out of the way, but I guess this is easier to view. I think I made an error and should have shot the 6 in the side 2 balls earlier. When I missed, I thought I was in a bad situation, but I could have prevented it earlier. Thoughts?
