I like this AJ Manas. IDK how I missed him before. He gets down and shoots fast, like Chezka. Well, maybe not quite that fast.

I couldn't agree more. In his first MR appearance he wasn't great at all - a bit wooden, probably nerves and adjusting to a new environemt. But he has, as you say, risen to the top. Some of his observations border on genius.
Philippines vs the World might be the ticket. It may also pack the stands in Manilla better.

This isn't American Pool, it is snooker on a 9' table with straight cut pockets. They can't take half the shots that make it a creative game. It is killing the sport.
Put the pockets back to normal and everyone can become competitive again.
FSR dogging his brains out. I really think it's the shaft. He just missed a hanger hitting it so fat. When going from a Predator to any other brand, the deflection is higher, and outside spin shots all go fat.
Yes, FSR butchered the safety on the four ball in rack nine of the team match, and it cost Team Rest of the World the match. All the credit to AJ Manas for capitalizing on this error. 5-0.

i have seen FSR twitch since probably around 2010. with and without predator cue. if you watched his run in 2022 to early 2023, you'll see that he reined it in, controlled his body movements much much better. if this was confidence or some other mental aspect idk. but he's back to yippy now.
I'm picking AJ Manas to beat Gorst.
Which Filipino spent 6 months in VA and was on that house stream about every day/week? I forgot his name. Maybe 3-4 years ago. He was a teen then I think.
Team "I Didn't Win a WNT Major in 2025" would be my choice.
Gorst had two silver medals in WNT major play and Neuhausen had one. Each of FSR, Woodward, and Shaw failed to reach the semis this year in a WNT major and by their standards, each had a poor year in competition. Too many "out of form" players on this team to expect it to win. Sad, really, as both Filler and Labutis won a WPA major this year but were excluded and LAbutis also reached the semis at the European Open.
Meanwhile, Asia has Biado, the World 9ball champion, Yapp a three-time WNT major champion
in 2025, and Chua, who was very sharp in getting bronze at the US Open 9ball in August.
My guess is that Team Asia will take its foot off the gas soon so this doesn't get too embarrassing. Something like 11-3 would hurt the brand of the Reyes Cup. I predict 11-5.
This match has been Team "in-form" vs Team "out-of-form"
