if i were to throw a third bet in it would be murphy. second best performance stats in the first round, but unlike zhao xintong we know how his nerves would handle a semi or final. yet the bookies have him at 16/1

I've had to refresh at least once nearly every time I start a new viewing session. It seems to cache old status or time.

If a person is bringing the quality, and overall point of the game into disrepute, then they shouldn't be a part of it altogether. Certainly not on the biggest stage. It's not like there has been some rehabilitation aspect to it... He lived comfortably, buying and selling cues, coaching and doing exhibitions, raking in money. He knew what they were doing, he knew what he was doing.
I can and do think exactly the same with regard to such instances in any sport. If there has been no effort to make real amends or add future benefit to the game, then there's no place for them in a game that hopes to have any actual integrity. The only reason he is back in the circle is 'Guanxi', and the benefit he brings to Mr. Hearn looking to line his pockets.

i respect your opinion, but lifetime ban for not snitching on your buddy is over zealous imo. there was a threat element in this too, which is why his friend didn't get a longer ban for match fixing. about the biggest stage thing, he got there by serving the 2 year ban, going through the q tour, then going through the qualifiers, so definitely took the long route to the biggest stage.
