i always thought hendry was very professional calling o’sullivan’s run to number seven

and also at other times when o’sullivan made history by equaling or surpassing his achievements
 
top half has really been soft for ronnie and zhao. selby, neil, allen and kyren are to blame of course.

trump had/has to overcome three final level opponents

Ronnie v. Si is on now, Sesstion 2 of 3. I agree with skogstokig about Ronnie's draw. His is pretty soft compared to the others. If he wins this, he plays the winner of Zhao Xingtong v. C. Wakelin in the semifinals.

He's running out the first frame right now and is looking sharp. Stephen Hendry in the booth too. I love his commentary.

A comfortable win for Ronnie in the first frame. Looking good!

i hear this argument but can never stand behind all of the ‘ifs’

if the stronger players that judd has to play all lost to the people that beat the stronger players that ronnie and zhao have to play

then judd would be up against the best of the best in his half too

robertson and selby and allen fell so ronnie and zhao are playing the best in the field

and in the time it took me to try and make my point o’sullivan went from 6-2 to 7-2

and 27 points towards 8-2
 
you call this half ‘soft’ ok but if robertson and selby and allen had managed to actually win while playing like they did play then it would be even softer
 
Si is in it to win it. He just ran the table on Ronnie and is shooting faster than previously. It's now 7-3.

Now it's Ronnie's turn to run out, and he is. He got a wee bit out of line on a ball and put his fist to the table rail, but nothing to worry about. He still made the shot.

am i confused here or why the hell is the higgins quarter final session to session (last on yesterday and first on today)?
 
Don't blink on this match. Ronnie wins again. He blows a raspberry as he exits the stage between frames. 8-3.

Might be because their match usually takes longer? Not sure.

Here's the upcoming matches from Snooker.org. I may sound sexist, but I do not like the female referees for some reason. I prefer the males, and I don't know why. The females do a good job, but the males just seem more professional—in my opinon, of course.
