The traditional side of a cow ribeyes will be available, fresh from the butcher shop, grilled out in the back by Kevin and the gang. Hell you might even get one cooked by Terry.

Calcutta is usually pretty good..... Good enough for me to drive from KC to try and snap off.

Julia

Looking forward to it.

Julia Gabriel might even come out of retirement for the $500 added Ladies event, should only get about 10 players and be a 1 day event.

The Mens event on the other hand.. Is anyones guess. With pool being dead in STL I project 50 players. Suppose to be nice out this weekend.

A lot of good to great players in attendance. The calcutta not that great, $2,325 total. I bought Gabe Owen and Chris Bartram.

Players here:
Shane McMinn
Chris Bartram
Gary Lutman
Chuck Raulston
Gabe Owen
and a lot of solid locals.

Bartrum and Owens go for $220 each in the blind bids, wow, is everyone broke. 1st place pays $600........

Glad I did not take off work for that, only worked 1/2 a day but I won the 1st place calcutta money. at work.

I hear that Sager and Boucher showed up, with a bunch of local donators.:p:p

Favorites on the Winner's side Day 2
Shane McMinn
Chris Bartram
Chuck Raulston

Loser's side - Gabe Owen just squeaked by a local after being down 8-7 to win with a break and run on the hill.

The Break

Chuck Raulston 1st place
Shane McMinn
Gabe Owens

Iba bought a field of horses but he had Chuck and Gabe, only because my partner Brendan did not get his ass out of bed and execute our plan.

Which was BUY RAULSTON, he will win..... And he did. But Brenden did not go ???

The IBA team which probably consisted of at least 2 others, ends up coming up winner. Congrats Daniel.

Sorry Mark

if it makes you feel any better if I would have bought him he would have gone two and out.

Me and Tony Buffo bought 4 players and 3 made it to the final 5. Problem was they went 3,4,5 in the tourney. We just made a few bucks. I am pretty sure Shane McMinn's crew actually had Shane and Chuck.

he is too cheap

no I was going anyways. Between driving from my house to the break to hillsboro and then doing it again heh next day I spent about $50 on gas. Gas freakin sucks.

Well Mark's rule is that when the bidder travels to a Calcutta to bid on someone as a corporation -- whether the bidder was going or not -- you get to deduct from the winnings any gas used. Just an FYI.
