Looking for one with tubes, light weight, shoulder strap, couple of pockets for pool stuff. I need one that can take a licking and keep on ticking with a decent price to take to tournaments and bars and such. Plain black would be just fine. What would you all recommend?

Well, it might not be the one to take to bars but its tough.
The best case I own at the moment is a GTF 2x4. No tubes but with the lining, your cues won't be going anywhere.

They are a little on the pricey side but it would be one that can last forever and you won't lose much on it if you decide to sell.

I prefer that my cues don't bang around.

Check out the for sale section and ebay for a resonable price. Porpers have a lifetime guarantee.:sorry:

If you're looking for an inexpensive case, Sterling makes some good one. High end, I have a preference for Whitten, but most of the big name makers make great cases. Mostly a matter of how much you want to spend.

You can have one like this for $150 shipped. It's pretty much the toughest case we have made.

They are simple and rugged nylon cases built with our UltraPad interiors (labeled inside). Featuring our super comfy handle, reinforced stress points, 1200 Denier nylon outer skin. KEE Zippers. Roomy, easy to access pockets with a jump cue handle compartment. Rubber bottom. And it's light weight coming in at 2.5lbs.

The pictures don't show it but the case will be delivered with an ergonomic non-slip shoulder pad.

You said you want tubes but you can't have tubes and lightweight unless you are willing to give up a lot of protection. Our interiors provide much better protection with generous padding.
