Hi All,
I've got two days in the UK coming up and want to catch the first part of the Sportsbet.io tour championship at Manchester Central.
Getting to see a live snooker tourney has been on my list for a long time so very stoked, but also don't know what to expect.

I see for tickets i can get reserved all day seating, or there are options for standard all day admission.
I'm only going to be there the first two days, so any recommendations on one or the other? Figured it might not be too crowded those days, and would like to be able to move from table to table depending on what matches were on.
If i get reserved seating can I still move around if i want?

Also notice there's morning and evening sessions but doesn't list times. Can i spend the whole day there or is there a break in between?

Any other suggestions to make the most of my time?

Also would love to play and grab a pint if anyone else is in the area.

Cheers

Ask in the Snooker forum and someone can probably provide more info then this.🙂

I believe the players will be the top 12 players on the one-year ranking list as of about now. The ranking lists are here:

On the first two days, the bottom 8 of the 12 will play races to 10. The sessions are at 1PM and 7PM local time. I'm pretty sure if a pair plays in the afternoon, they will also play in the evening. They will play no more than 8 frames in the afternoon session so there will be at least two in the evening session.

The four winners will then be matched up on the next two days with the four top-ranked players.

The reserved seats appear to be in the front rows. I think they are too low for a good view. I went to the UK Championship in York in December and was very happy in the balcony where I could see the balls on both tables. I looked on the booking site and it appears you cannot select the seats you want for reserved. Get the general admission.

You should have lots of time for dinner before the evening session. They will probably have some kind of fan experience event. In York, Shaun Murphy was doing demos and Q&A. I would try to be there when they open for the first session.

Here are the current 5-12 on the ranking list:

Judd Trump
Wu Yize
Ronnie O'Sullivan
Chris Wakelin
Mark Allen
Xiao Guodong
Elliot Slessor
Jack Lisowski
