This is a game that I have never heard of, but it is kind of fun. I was wondering if anyone has played this game or is it just made up! You have to bank the 3rd 5th and 8th shot to win the game. Any ball is played by the shooter.

Ya I believed that to be the case, but it is played with a full rack, I did not specify that in the OP. I think you are playing short rack or nine ball. Makes more sense with a full rack.
