Let's not forget the Dufferin aluminum joint which is 1/2" 13 tpi

Biggest pin I'm aware of...

Walter

That's still 3/8.
Joe Gold's is a little over 3/8 iirc.
Billiards cues have wooden 1/2 8 I think.

Joe Gold uses a 7/16x11, G-10.
Joe Barringer also uses a 7/16x11, G-10.
Sorry, just didn't want to put those 2 names in the same sentence.
I just love the word "thingy".
If I had a 4 yr. old daughter, I'll bet that's what she'd call it too. Almost precious.

Lee at Brianna has, I believe a 7/16x11 pin. He sells the package deal of a tap, 3 brass pins, and 3 aluminum pins, and a drive pin for the shaft cleanings.

Dave <<<<<has no need for a bigger pin:grin:

Hi Ken; can I ask why you are interested ina joint screw bigger in diameter than 3/8-10? Do you reallize that the bigger the hole is in the shaft, the weaker you make it. Also remember that the joint screw only has one job, holding the shaft to the butt section...JER
